Ring Bear! (another version)

A little boy was a proud participant in a relative's wedding. As he walked down the aisle he would take two steps, stop, turn to the crowd and put his hands up like claws and roar. Alternating from one side of the aisle to the other he walked; step, step, ROAR!, step, step, ROAR!, step, step, ROAR! All the way down to the altar. As one could imagine, the crowd was in hysterics from laughing so hard by the time he walked the length of the church and finally reached the pulpit.
The little boy, however, was quite upset from all the laughing and was sobbing uncontrollably by the time he reached the minister.
The incredulous minister inquired of the bawling child,
"What in God's name are you doing son?"
The little boy regained his composure a bit, sniffed and said,
"I was just trying to be a good Ring Bear..." |
