The original way cool site was designed by Carl & Kimberly White for their wedding on August 26th ,1995 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania to celebrate their relationship and the moments that led up to their special day. The couple was one of the first known to broadcast their wedding over the internet and at the time received a great deal of press and a few awards for their creativity. In the early days of the interenet, (before Google!)Way Cool Weddings even had it's own 'category' on Yahoo.com.

The current site is designed to feature other couples who have since created really great personal wedding pages on the web. More than 12 million visitors have stopped by since waycoolweddings.com was first started in 1996.
